Building Portrait

Discover how to bring architecture to life with expressive colour, loose washes, and fine line detail. Learn when to let your ink do the heavy lifting and when to let the watercolour take over. We will explore how to combine the two mediums without losing the freshness of either. Don’t let perspective intimidate you! We’ll cover simple tricks to break down complex architectural shapes into manageable, paintable forms.

Suitable for all levels.

If you have watercolour paints, please bring them with you & learn about your own paints. However, if you don’t have any paints, don’t worry they are available & all other materials are provided.
Bring a packed lunch or make use of the many establishments in Bedale highstreet only a 1 minute walk away. Refreshments available throughout the day including afternoon cake.
